Thank you Abbeville!!! And Gene and Clinton Lee

It all started last week when we got a phone call from Gene and Clinton Lee .They have seen our work , us and our dog Velvet at the local antique stores. They wanted to know if we do permenet windows ,like back in the day. The Lee's are opening an antique store in the great town of Abbeville , Alabama . So, we when up to Abbeville to talk to Gene and Clinton . We had no idea what kind of kindness we would find! The Lee's went around town and told everybody about us , even the local newspaper, Abbeville Hearld . Then today before we finished the last window they came up to take pictures and talk with us . We will be in their newspaper next Thurday April 1st,2010.By the way the Lee's antique store will open April 1st with a big bang! Thank you again Abbeville and The Lee's for the kindness that is so hard to find these days !!!!

We just put out Three pair of skates at Land of Cotton ! There are size 10 kid size and two pair for teens or adults . Two pair have a groovy case with them . They are from the 1960-70's era . One case has extra wheels with them . They will made great decoration or you can sk8 with them they are in that great condition . Don't you remember the fun we had sk8ing back in the day ?

This is another 3D mural I did in the same lady's house that Mason and I did the rainforest mural in .The mural includes all 4 wallz and the ceiling . Mason and Mom's first mural together !

Mason is my oldest son and in 2007 we did a rainforest 3D mural in a local Home here in Dothan , Alabama. He was He was only 19 years old. I tought him all types of things when he was a child about art . He didn't forget any of it. We had the best time and got payed doing so. We are ready to do more art together. folk art !

Are you in to folk art ? We have just the thing if you are . It took me a long time to do this mirror . It had to be just right . I have wood burn and glued wooden animals on it. John found this awesome antique hall tree and shoe shine box .

This is the find of the year ! John re did this great antique hall tree and shoe shine box . At one time it was used in a place downtown Dothan for a shoeshine bench. The shoeshine box is a pieces of art in itself . It was handmade . We had it at Land of Cotton Antique Mall . It was such a great pieace it was for sale for only for 4 days . But want to share the history and the before and after pictures of it . Hope you enjoy.

We redo and redesign chandeliers .

We have many chandeliers that we have re done and re designed . We don;t have pix of all of the . But this is one of my favorite . All we did is clean it up and slap a little of paint on it to highlight it .It you are looking for a new look for one of your chandeliers we can do it but you have to get someone to take it down and put it back up . We have this bubblegum pink one that is so sweet and could go with a lot of styles . It would be great for a cafe, kitchen in your shabby chic home , daycare ,etc. You can pick this up at Old South Antique Mall in Dothan , Alabama. If you want to make sure to get this awsome chandelier you can call in your payment . They will hold it for you .

We have heard many people say that the pink needed to be toned down .

Well, the groovy cool bubble gum pink has been distressed . You will have to go to Old South Antique Mall to see the new look on it . It is the whole bed room set or buy the pieces you need . The bed is full size . The vanity has a great old round mirror.The cute little wardrobe was sold at Old South Antique Mall . Thanks to the people who bought it . The rest of the set is still for sale and most likely will not stay long ,because it is looking like people are sick of the cold and are getting out and shopping . So, if you are looking at any of these pieces and want any , you need to go to Old South Antique Mall and ask them at the front counter to show you where it is . We have moved it once again . Have a whole new set up with it to show you the different ways it could be used. We can still can add art to it and to the room you are going to put it in.

this is a great old little china cabinet ...

This china cabinet has been marked down . You can pick it up at Land of Cotton . It has a glass door , one middle drawer , and two wooden doors on the bottom for storage . The color is great and will match any other colors you have going on . The rounded corners is the reasone why we picked it up . You can place a light in it to hepl show off your china or silver plate . We have lotz of silver plate.This china cabinet you see in the picture has been sold . Things do not last long at Land Of Cotton . So if you see it you better bye it right then. We will have new items in all the time . Don't you think faux mable would look great painted on is Mexican pillar ? And we can also change the color of the mother and child statue . The awesome artist wall statue can be re painted as well. Antique mirror...

Here we have an early 1900's mountable mirror without vanity. We have it for sale at Land of Cotton Antique Mall . It has great lines and can be mounted onto another vanity or hung on wall. If you are going in to buy it ask the staff at front counter for it .Tell them it is in v13 ( Velvet's) booth and they will take you to it.

We are not doing real stained glass yet but...

How about faux stained glass. Yes, you heard right faux stain glass . It is a more cost effective way to go . If you have a window in you home or business that could us color this is what you need .We also have windows we paint up for you to hang indoor and out . They look groovy in front of a window , so that the sun shines through.It will spread color all over your room. We have lotz of designs and can do custom pieces as well.

Here are some sunfaces we did for local restaurnt !

These are some very colorful sunfaces we painted for local Mexican Restaurnt . There are even sunfaces painted in some of the muralz we did . We painted 2D muralz from the floor , ceiling , wallz , And windows inside and outside. We even re did the some of the pinadas . Had a groovy time doing the place. Floor mural included faux Mexican tilez . We made it into a free biker magazine with the work we did in the restaurnt. It took around 6 weeks to complete the whole process.
